Buckinghamshire Winter Wedding Photography at Hedsor House in Taplow
Hedsor House in Taplow, Buckinghamshire is one of my all time favourite wedding venues and was an incredible location for Shakil and Thushara's fairytale winter wedding.
Shakil and Thushara took full advantage of this magnificent venue and had planned a fairytale day for this winter wedding. The day began in the bridal suite at Hedsor with Thushara, her friends and close family getting ready before the most romantic ceremony in the impressive Centre Hall at Hedsor House. A string quartet played for Thushara's entrance and the wedding ceremony was a very emotional one that ended with the couple exiting the ceremony to the E.T theme song!
After the ceremony, guests moved into the drawing room and boudoir for drinks and canapés and were created by a fairytale forest complete with a magic mirror and a fairytale tree to hang messages on. Jo and Juliet of JJ Occasions had done an amazing job of putting everything together and the details that helped to pull everything together were so well thought out.
The rest of the day lived up to the fairytale theme and included some very emotional speeches which were followed by a pretty epic first dance that culminated with a flash mob finale that signalled the start of the party and the talented Hot Shots performed an amazing set. Shakil and Thushara exited the wedding under a shower of sparklers and it was the perfect way to end this beautiful day.
Hedsor House is a stunning Georgian style mansion which is set beautifully in the Buckinghamshire hillside overlooking the River Thames and is an incredibly unique venue that offers so many opportunities for a perfectly one-off wedding day.

About the venue: Hedsor House is located in Taplow Buckinghamshire and is a magnificent Georgian mansion wedding venue in Hedsor. The uniqueness of Hedsor is the fact that it has so many different spaces that can be sectioned off or combined to accommodate virtually any type of wedding setup. The Grand Ballroom is a stunning wedding space and has a capacity of 150. The stunning parkland grounds can also hold wedding marquees that increase the capacity of Hedsor to 800 or more.
