The culmination of Nimesh and Rakhee’s destination wedding in Dubai was the Hindu wedding ceremony and reception. It was a truly magical day that took place on the lawns and private beach at Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort and Spa with the reception on a private boat, leaving from the Dubai Marina.
After an awe-inspiring desert pre-wedding photography session in the sandy dunes of Dubai, the couple's wedding celebrations continued with a Mehndi and Sangeet event at a private bedouin camp outside the bustling city centre. The event was nothing short of magnificent, with vibrant colours, traditional music, and dance performances that dazzled the guests. The couple's pre-wedding events were a beautiful reflection of their fun personalities. Each event was meticulously planned and executed, ensuring that every moment was filled with memorable moments for the couple and their guests.
This followed some of the amazing pre-wedding events that included pre-wedding photography in the sand dunes of the Dubai desert and a Mehndi and Sangeet event in a private Bedouin camp outside of the city centre as well as a stunning civil ceremony at Newland Manor in Buckinghamshire.
The beach ceremony location at the Sofitel gave us great views of Palm Jumeirah, and the baraat procession of Nimesh and his entourage along the beach on a camel was the perfect way to kick off this destination Hindu wedding. The couple were lucky enough to have the Hindu ceremony performed by Kamal Pandey, who flew over from London and always delivered something very special. Karishma Manwani, the destination wedding planner, had once again put together a beautiful day, and everything flowed so well throughout the whole event.
The wedding lunch was served on the private lawn of the Sofitel before guests had a chance to prepare for the evening reception. We headed off in private transportation to the Dubai Marina, and a private boat was waiting at the Dubai Marina Yacht Club, which took us on an incredible tour of the Dubai skyline as the party began.
There was lots of entertainment on offer and guests were treated to a nighttime fly board display with a stunning Dubai backdrop before DJ H and Kudos kicked off the music. It was the perfect way to end this destination adventure and It was an honour to travel out to Dubai for the week to tell this incredible story.
