Wedding Reception at the Brewery in London

The second part of Ravi and Ria's wedding followed the amazing Hindu ceremony at the Park Lane Hilton and was the amazing Catholic ceremony and reception.

Catholic and Hindu fusion weddings are always amazing as you get two amazing ceremonies. The first was the colourful Hindu ceremony and the second was the beautiful Catholic ceremony that took place at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in North London. This was followed by an incredible reception at The Brewery in the heart of London and was the perfect way to end this multi-cultured wedding.

The whole day was filled with laughter and lots of fun and this really sums up what a great couple Ravi and Ria are. Here are a few images from this Catholic wedding and reception at Our Lady of Lourdes Church and The Brewery in London.

You can check out part one of this wedding which was the colourful Hindu wedding ceremony, Sangeet and Hindu reception at the Park Lane Hilton in London here.

This former Whitbread Brewery, now a stunning events venue, combines industrial charm with modern elegance, making it a fantastic location for a city wedding. If you’re planning your wedding at The Brewery or looking for a wedding photographer familiar with this London venue, this guide will provide you with all the essential details.

About The Brewery Wedding Venue

Located in the heart of the City of London, The Brewery offers a distinctive setting for weddings with a backdrop that beautifully balances historical character and contemporary style. Once a major brewery in the 18th century, it has been transformed into one of London’s leading event spaces. The venue retains much of its industrial heritage, with exposed brickwork, high vaulted ceilings, and beautiful beams that create a warm and atmospheric vibe.

The Brewery is perfect for couples seeking a versatile venue with plenty of character and charm. From intimate ceremonies to large celebrations, this central London venue can be tailored to suit your needs.

Location of The Brewery

The Brewery is located in the heart of London, near Moorgate, Liverpool Street, and Barbican stations. Its central location makes it easily accessible for your guests, whether they’re travelling from within London or further afield. The venue’s proximity to key landmarks, like St Paul’s Cathedral and the Barbican Centre, also makes it a fantastic option for city weddings. The bustling streets outside contrast beautifully with the peaceful, private atmosphere within the venue.

The Wedding Spaces at The Brewery

The Brewery offers a variety of unique spaces, each with its own character and appeal. Whether you’re planning a small and intimate ceremony or a grand celebration, there’s a space to suit your wedding.

This is the largest space at The Brewery and a showstopper for wedding receptions. It features a stunning timber-vaulted ceiling, which is one of the largest of its kind in London. With a capacity of up to 700 guests for a seated meal, The Porter Tun is ideal for larger celebrations. Its grandeur makes it a breathtaking space for both dining and dancing.

  • The Sugar Rooms
The Sugar Rooms are two adjoining spaces on the upper floor, offering plenty of natural light through large Georgian windows. These rooms are perfect for smaller ceremonies or as breakout spaces during your wedding. They have a more intimate feel but still showcase The Brewery’s character.

  • The Smeaton Vaults
With exposed brick walls and low arched ceilings, the Smeaton Vaults are brimming with charm. They’re perfect for drinks receptions, smaller ceremonies, or cosy evening celebrations. The mood lighting in this space enhances its atmospheric appeal.

  • The King George III Room
This elegant and historic space is well-suited for intimate ceremonies or dinners. It boasts high ceilings, period features, and a classic, timeless charm.

  • The Courtyard
The Brewery also offers a private cobbled courtyard, ideal for outdoor drinks receptions or a relaxed summer vibe. It’s a hidden gem in the heart of the city and a wonderful spot for mingling and capturing candid moments.
