Two in a Row from the amazing One Whitehall Place which is fast becoming one of my favourite wedding venues to photograph at. Weddings at One Whitehall Place are always so well presented that it really makes my job easy and when you get a couple that are as much fun to work with as Raphael and Melanie it feels like you have hit jackpot!
Raphael is a very keen photographer and understands the complexities of shooting in very low light well and when we met we talked about the ceremony and the best way to preserve the feel of the Bevis Mark Synagogue. It was the kind of challenge that I love and as soon as I saw the Synagogue I understood the reason behind Raph wanting to do this. Bevis Mark is the Oldest Synagogue in London and has held services for over 300 years. Weddings at Bevis Mark are very special, and it was definitely important to get the feel of this amazing building just right.
Raphael and Melanie's reception at One Whitehall was just as special and filled with Jewish traditions and lots of emotions. It was a real pleasure to capture this very emotional wedding and I have included a few images from the day below.
