As a London wedding photographer I have been lucky enough to photograph weddings at some of the most prestigeous venues in the world. Hampton Court Palace in the London Borough of Richmond is defiantly up there with the very best and I was honoured to photograph Ruk and Claire's wedding at the stunning Great Hall inside the Palace.
Ruk and Claire decided to keep the fact that they had booked Hampton Court Palace a secret for a while and they must have been bursting to tell people what an amazing wedding they had planned.
The bridal preparations took place across from the Palace in the aptly named King Henry Suite of the Carlton Mitre Hotel, which had amazing views over the Palace, this was followed by a trip to Chelsea Old Town Hall for the ceremony before everyone jumped on a couple of London Buses for the journey into the Palace. Arriving as the Palace was closed to the public, we had exclusive use of the whole place and the Great Hall looked amazing. Ruk and Claire had chosen some amazing details and the apple centre pieces were a genius touch.
I look at each of my weddings as if they were my babies and it's hard to admit that you love one more than another. However, Ruk and Claire's wedding is always going to be one of my not-so-secret favourites.
