Essex Farm Outdoor Wedding Photography in Ongar
Humanist Marquee Wedding at Hobbans Farm in Ongar Essex
The second part of Gareth and Toms amazing 2-day wedding took place in the grounds of their Farm in Ongar, Essex. It was an incredible outdoor marquee wedding with beautiful touches, emotion and lots of celebrating and I had such a great time working with them both for their wedding events. Gareth and Tom are such a wonderful couple and it was an honour to tell their story.
The wedding was set in a lovely location, in the grounds of the family farm, with stunning views over the countryside of Essex. They could not have picked a sunnier day for an outdoor wedding, and the weather was perfect for getting married outside.
The day began with friends and family relaxing by the pool and getting ready for the wedding ceremony. Gareth and Tom are such a fantastic couple, and it was such a pleasure to see how much the day meant to them.
It was clear to see what an effort Gareth and Tom had made ensuring that the whole day was filled with so many unique and personal touches. London wedding planner Katrina Littleton had worked closely with the couple to fill the day with so many incredible details, and she was critical in making the whole wedding such a special one.
The grounds of the farm are breathtaking, and they made full use of this with separate areas for the ceremony, drinks reception and wedding reception. There was even a tented village for guests to stay in for the weekend.
The beautiful humanist wedding ceremony was conducted by celebrant Lynn O’Brien, and the couple both walked down the aisle with their parents as singer Clare Sophia performed. The service was emotional and moving, and the setting was perfect.
Following the humanist ceremony, the couple were driven around the village in a vintage Land Rover before the celebrations began. The weather was glorious, and we were able to make use of the summer light to capture some beautiful sunset images before night fell and the party started. Guests partied well into the early hours, and the band and DJ kept the dancing going all night.
Gareth and Tom put together a great list of suppliers, and it was lovely to work with the talented Elissa at Films in Bloom again. You can check out all of the suppliers from this outdoor wedding at the end of this post and view part one from this 2-day wedding which was a beautiful Savoy London Wedding here.
