It is always exciting when couples ask me to fly internationally to photograph their wedding but when it is an epic 3 day wedding in India with elephants and lots of traditional Indian elements then it is even more exciting.
Tom and Vanita live in Pune, India with Tom originally from the UK and it was an honour to be asked to fly over and tell the story of their 3 day multi-event wedding in this amazing country.
Part one of this incredible wedding took place at the 1 Lounge in Koreagon Park in Pune and consisted of the Mehndi and Sanget. this was followed by a traditional pre wedding family celebration that culminated in the ripping off of Tom's clothes to symbolise his fresh start with Vanita.
The Hindu wedding itself took place at Punyadham Ashram at Kondhwa in Pune which was followed by the wedding reception at the Westin Hotel in Pune India
