Chiswick House and Gardens in London is an incredible location for an intimate wedding and John and Chelsea’s wedding ceremony at the Chiswick Conservatory was an amazing day filled with so many thoughtful and unique touches and it was lovely to see such a perfect day come together for this beautiful couple.
I met John and Chelsea back in 2017 when John contacted me about a surprise London engagement shoot in the city. The couple lived in Canada and John put together a romantic proposal during a trip to London which was followed by a pre wedding shoot at various locations around the city. We has such an incredible time during their engagement shoot and I was delighted that they were planning a destination wedding in London and wanted me to tell the story of their day.
The wedding day itself took place in the Chiswick Conservatory which is located at Chiswick House and Gardens in London and is a breathtaking wedding venue surrounded by some of the most stunning grounds. John and Chelsea’s bride and groom preparations took place at Hotel London Kensington by Melia before the wedding party travelled to Chiswick House for the ceremony. The morning rain gave way just in time for a beautiful wedding entrance along the walkway to the conservatory and the rain held off long enough for us to make good use of the grounds of Chiswick House for the bride and groom’s wedding photographs.
After drinks and canapés the guests, most of which had travelled over from Canada and around the world were taken on an afternoon tea tour of the London sights on Red double-decker busses which was the perfect way to view the city. After the tour John and Chelsea took a little bit of time to get some photographs around London before we headed to the Glasshouse in Kew for a beautifully intimate reception.
Everything was planned to perfection by the talented Lindy Dowling and the day couldn’t have gone better. John and Chelsea are one of the loveliest couples and it was such a pleasure to tell their story. Here are a few images from this Chiswick House and Gardens wedding.
