Pre Wedding Countryside Photoshoot in the Cotswolds

English Countryside Pre Wedding Photography in the Cotswolds

One of the best English countryside pre-wedding photography locations must be the beautiful Cotswolds and Zhi and Ivana's engagement photography session was a fantastic couple of days.

Zhi and Ivana had flown over to the UK from Singapore and wanted to take their pre wedding photographs in the Cotswolds which is just a couple of hours from London. I had arranged the pre-wedding itinerary so I was able to meet them at Heathrow airport before driving out to the Heythrop Park Hotel in Bibury which was the perfect base for a 2-day engagement shoot.

The Cotswolds is spread out over a number of English counties in the south-central countryside that includes  Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Warwickshire, Wiltshire, and Worcestershire. The rolling hills and stunning historic villages make the area one of the best pre-wedding photography and engagement photography locations in England.

As the shoot was spread over a couple of days we were able to include many of the Cotswold highlights including Broadway Tower, Snowshill Village, Bourton on the Water, Snowshill Lavender Farm, Lower Slaughter and Bibury. The stone-built houses and streams that run through some of the Cotswold villages create unique backdrops that really complement the countryside location.

Here are a few images from this Cotswolds pre wedding photography shoot.
